Province Unveils New Memorial Cross Licence Plate

A new licence plate is now available in BC for recipients of the Memorial Cross. The announcement was made in Vancouver today. A Prince George resident was the first recipient of the licence plate.

Ron McCully lost his son, Matthew, in Afghanistan. He asked for the government to honour families like his who lost loved ones in service with the licence plate.

The plates are now available to official Memorial Cross recipients. Requests for a license plate can be made by contacting ICBC headquarters at 604-982-6467, or by visiting their website. There is no fee for the plate.
