The Spruce Kings have had a bounce back season with a complete turnaround from last year. GM Mike Hawes brought in players who have helped the Kings from Day One, but today, they traded scoring winger Jamie Huber back to his previous team, the Listowel Cyclones of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. Heading back home for family reasons, Huber leaves a void in the Kings lineup. In exchange for future considerations, the Kings lose their second leading scorer. Huber had 11 goals and 27 points in 29 games in his first BCHL campaign. He played mostly with Kings captain Prett Mennear, as well as on the PG power-play unit.
