The Cougars blueline will get a big boost tonight, with the return of Brendan Guhle. The NHL’s Buffalo Sabres have reassigned the blueliner to the Cats, in time for their doubleheader against the Seattle Thunderbirds. Guhle was called up to the NHL on an emergency basis by Buffalo, playing three games with the Sabres. He averaged 16:21 of ice-time and was a +1. The defenseman was acquired by the Cougars on November 18th in a trade with Prince Albert and has notched three goals in his first four games in a Cougars uniform.
