This morning’s arrival of winter was meet by Environment Canada with a series of snowfall warnings across much of northern British Columbia. The entire Bulkley Valley, including Smithers and Burns Lake is expecting up to 25 cm of snow. Meantime the Pine Pass north of Prince George is expecting to receive a blanket of snow. Up to 20 cm is expected to fall along parts of Highway 97 before the snow begins to taper off in the evening. Prince George is not expected to receive any significant snowfall Wednesday however flurries are in the forecast overnight and Thursday.
