The air quality advisories issued for Prince George and Vanderhoof continue today because of high concentrations of fine particulate matter expected to stick around throughout the day and possibly tomorrow .Check out the Environment Canada website and for updates, and on how to reduce your health risk.

The Ministry of Environment in collaboration with Northern Health has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Prince George and Vanderhoof due to high concentrations of fine matter. Those with chronic medical conditions are advised to postpone strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted. Exposure is mainly a concern for infants, the elderly, and those who have diabetes, lung or heart disease.
