Spruce Kings Fall Short

After losing a 6-5 contest to the Chilliwack Chiefs on Friday the Kings were back in action agaisnt the Chiefs yesterday for a rematch.

Just 5 seconds in to the first period Chilliwack got the scoring started as Will Calverley notched his 10th of the year. Exactly 35 seconds later,  Tyler Anderson tied things up for the  Kings with his 16th of the season. After a fast a furious start to the game, Chilliwack would start to take over. The Chiefs scored four straight goals adding one more in the first, one in the second and two in the final frame. Ben Brar hammered one home to cut the deficit to three for the Kings, however it would prove to be too little, too late as the Chiefs capture their 28th win of the season.
