The Prince George Spruce Kings received plenty of support towards a goal they set for Saturday’s game. The Kings aimed to raise money in order to purchase new surgical equipment for the Saint John’s Hospital in Vanderhoof. The partnership between the Kings, Vanderhoof Co-op, and The Spirit of the North Health Care Foundation, turned out to be incredibly successful. The team raised thirty-two hundred dollars from donations, and a portion of the 50/50. Saturday’s attendance was a season high, of one-thousand 9-hundred and 69 fans.
