Large Turnout For Women's Rights March

An estimated crowd of over 100 people turned out to support a rally for Women’s Rights at Prince George’s Canada Games Plaza Saturday morning. Many were carrying signs calling for equality women in all parts of society.
The rally is one of dozens taking part across Canada and is in support of a massive rally in Washington, D.C. It was set up on the first full day of the Trump presidency. Organizers say it isn’t a rally against Trump, but instead a march for women’s rights.
At least one person taking part in the rally said they were participating because of the remarks made by the Trump that came out during the campaign. She said she and women around the world felt marginalized by the comments. It’s estimated a half million people participated in the Washington march.
