Chilliwack struck for four consecutive goals over a ten minute span in the second period, posting a 7 – 3 win over the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings Saturday night.
The Chiefs held a six to nothing lead before the Spruce Kings Kyle Johnson scored his first of three goals.
The loss snapped the Spruce Kings modest two game winning streak and left the club nine points behind the third place Langley Rivermen in the Mainland division standings.
The Kings return home to host West Kelowna Thursday night in their final home game of the regular season. They’ll play their final seven games on the road.
