University Hospital To Get New Technology

New technology is on its way to the University Hospital. The hospital’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine was removed from the building today. The magnet inside the MRI weighed in at 5,500kg and was hauled out by a crane. For the time being a temporary mobile MRI machine is servicing patient needs. The new machine is expected to be operational in June. The replacement has a price tag of $2.8 million.
