PG Regional Highway Rescue Members Will Not Get Tax Credit

During the 2017 provincial budget speech, the government acknowledges and provided some emergency volunteers with a tax break. Prince George Regional Highway Rescue who also provides emergency services in our region and did not receive the tax credit. Highway Rescue Chief Keith Laboucan says they would had like to be included and make it fair for all emergency volunteers. For nearly thirty years Highway Rescue provides emergency auto extrication and auto fire suppression in the region.  Even thou the Prince George Regional Highway Rescue volunteer members do not meet the criteria, Chief Laboucan says his crew will continue to provide the life saving service.
