Investigation Into Monday Blast Continues

An Investigator with the Ministry of Energy and Mines is expected to be in Prince George today to visit the site of Monday evening’s controlled blast that shook homes along the Nechako river.
A Ministry official says the Inspector will be conducting interviews and looking to determine exactly what happened.
The blast occurred shortly after 8:30pm and caught many residents off guard.  Emergency service officials spent more than an hour searching for the cause of the blast before learning of its origin.
Pat’s Pitt has been shutdown since Tuesday to allow investigators to get a first hand look at the operation.  The Ministry says information learned today, will determine the next steps for the investigation.
