Cougars Jacked Up After Win Over Kamloops

It was Lumberjack night at CN Centre for the Prince George Cougars game against their division foe in the Kamloops Blazers. It was also free beer night for the fans.

Donning the black and red checkered lumberjack jerseys the Cougars came out flying.

Defenceman Brendan Guhle made an impactful return to the line-up, after missing 12 games with an injury, as he popped in a goal, and three assists with a +5 rating.

Jared Bethune and Kody McDonald each had two goals and an assist for the Cougars. McDonald also picked up a Gordie Howe Hat-trick after dropping the mitts in the first.

Radovan Bondra and Colby McAuley also added a goal and an assist for the Cougars.

Goaltenders were busy as shots favoured the Cats 50-31.

Close to 4,300 fans packed the CN Centre to watch the divisional match-up.

The two teams go at it again Saturday with puck drop set for 7:00PM.
