Mail-In Ballot Error Forces Rescheduling Of First Nation Election

The Lheidli T’enneh election is being pushed back after concerns were raised on the return envelope inside the mail-in ballots didn’t contain sufficient postage.

Electoral Officer Loreen Suhr posted the notice on the First Nation’s social media apologizing for any confusion.

The election was set for March 11th and now it’s been pushed to April 12th, with new mail-in ballots going out on Monday.
