HIGHLIGHTS: Harkins Makes Cougars History To Cap Off Huge Weekend

A four point night for Cougars forward Jansen Harkins is what the doctor ordered as a goal and three assists in the Cats 6-1 victory over Kamloops on Saturday, has him sitting in sole possession of all time points leader with 240.

Kamloops opened the scoring in the first with a goal from Garrett Pilon, but it was downhill for the Blazers after that.

Six unanswered goals followed by the Cats and they take both contests on the weekend.

Harkins surpassed Chase Witala for most points by a player in franchise history.

With the victory the Cats record sits at 42-20-3-2 atop the BC Division standings. The Kelowna Rockets sit only four points back.

A trip below the 49th parallel is in store for the Cats as they head to Portland to kick off a three game US road swing, which will see the Cats finish with games against Tri-Cities and Spokane.
