Government Gives 60,000 For Domestic Violence Prevention

The government has provided 60 thousand dollars of funding towards an effort, to provide domestic violence prevention programing across the province. The Difference between programing and efforts in the past, is that the help will be offered to those who are not convicted of a domestic related crime. Portions of the money will be going to the John Howard Society’s ‘Stop program’, geared towards eliminating domestic violence incidents within relationships.
