ICBA Gets Naming Rights At CNC Trades

A special ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the John Brinks Trades centre, celebrating the formal naming of a classroom for the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association. It’s part of a $25,000 contribution the ICBA made to the College a year ago, for its 40th anniversary.
“This classroom will be instrumental in ensuring that our students are being educated and trained with the newest classroom technology,” says Frank Rossi, Dean of Trades and Technologies.
The funding will be used towards the purchase of electronics and other equipment.
“ICBA’s contribution will help prepare the next generation of construction industry professionals and support students as they pursue in-demand trades,” says Mike Davis, Regional Vice President of ICBA. “We are very excited to be investing in the students of northern B.C. and in the future of our province.”
The Association will hold those naming right until 2021.
