Trooper, and April Wine will headline a concert at the Pacific Western Brewery this summer. The concert marks the 60 year anniversary of the brewery which opened it’s doors in 1957. Prince George’s own, Audio Union will also take part in the festivities. The day will also include an open- house, all of that goes down on August 12th.
Gates for the concert will open at 5pm with a fireworks show being put on at 11pm. The concert is an 19 plus event, where as the open house will be an all ages event running from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“This is a community celebration where we can welcome them to the brewery and they can come celebrate with us.” said Kyle Sampson, PWB’s marketing and sales manager. Sampson also says they expect “a couple thousand” people through out the day full of festivities.
Last year the brewery brought in honeymoon suite to perform an outdoor concert and the event sold out. Tickets for this year’s event are $40 each, with tickets being available at cariboobrewing.com starting on Friday April 7th.
