Students at the College of New Caledonia took part in a cultural celebration that marks the Sikh new year.
The Vaisakhi festival is a spring harvest for Sikhs.
It is celebrated every year either on April 13th.
Dozens took part in the festival, which included a turban tying competition. A handful of individuals had 10 minutes to tie a turban properly on their head.
The material, which is made from cotton, can be anywhere from five feet to seven and a half feet in length.
