Local Swimmer Headed To World Championships

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

It was a fantastic weekend for Prince George swimmers at Canadian trials this weekend, headlined by Josiah Binnema. He won gold in the 100 metre fly and also picked up a silver in the 50 fly, good enough to earn him a spot at World Championships this summer. Binnema is from Prince George but now swims with a club in Edmonton. Some other top results for local swimmers were a bronze for Danica Ludlow in the 800 free, a 13th place finish for Avery Movold in the 1500 free as well as a B final in 200 back. And Hannah Esopenko got 32nd in 50 breast.
