Radiologists Review Scans With Discrepancies

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

A series of radiology tests conducted at ‘Mills Memorial Hospital’ in Terrace between October of last year and January 2017 were sent for review after a number of them were found showing discrepancies. Close to 8,400 CT-scans, ultrasounds and general x-ray images were taken, with 10.3% of those showing discrepancies. Northern Health says a group of radiologists at Vancouver General Hospital went through the images and shared them with the physicians and their patients. They add that they can’t say if the results will, or have had any major impacts on patients.
