Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

It’s not over yet.  Old man winter is leaving his mark on parts of B.C. over the Easter long weekend.

Environment Canada says snowfall is expected to continue through to the afternoon in the northeast.   A snowfall warning is in place.  It says a band of precipitation is continuing to give snow to the region. An additional 10 cm of snow is expected today.  And then light snow is expected continue tonight into early Saturday morning.

Meantime residents in the Chilcotin region were also expected to wake up to between 5 to 10 centimetres of snow this morning.

Conditions across the province are expected to improve through the Easter long weekend.
