Trend Setters Will Soon Offer Alcohol

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

Trend Setters Hair Studio & Day Spa is the first hair salon in Prince George to apply, and be approved for a Liquor Primary License through the City. That means the establishment will be able to offer alcoholic beverages to customers receiving hair and spa services.

Trend Setters is excited to be able to offer the option to clients. However,  it won’t come cheap. Owner, Craig Landon, says it will cost the business just over $7,000 to provide the extra service, which is expected to be available within the next couple months.

“My true like would be to have the control board look at licensing fees, and hopefully make some changes because we are not a pub or bar and it’s not going to be wide-spread like a pub or bar. I think for us going through these processes, they are going to learn a lot. We are going to learn a lot, and I think things can be revised in the future to make it more affordable for businesses.”
