Program At Two Rivers Gallery Helping Give Back

It’s all about giving back to organizations that do so much for the community. Two Rivers Gallery announced the “Make to Give” program. The gallery will partner with different non profits and to lend a helping hand. To kick off the program, it has partnered with REAPS.

On May 4th from 5-9 p.m., the community is invited to join REAPS at the MakerLab 2RG to make reusable cloth bags. The idea is to reduce the amount of plastic bags going to the landfill.

The bags will be made for Hope Farms produce and will be available at the Farmers Market for shoppers to use, and bring back.

The program was made possible thanks to a $5,000 My PG grant. The grant will go towards the gallery’s “Community Hive”, which encompasses both the ‘Make to Give’ program and the soon to launch ‘Repair Cafe’ program.
