Cariboo Cougars forward Tyler Maser has found a hockey home for next year, and it will be with his former Cats teammate Jeremy Gervais in Nanaimo. The Clippers announced today that Maser has committed to join them for next season. Maser is coming off an excellent tournament at the Telus Cup, where he finished tied with Gervais for the team lead in scoring. And another Cariboo Cougar is going to be playing junior hockey next year. Myles Mattila is headed down to Kelowna to play for the Chiefs in the KIJHL. Mattila will also be attending university in Kelowna and will have the chance to continue his mental health initiatives next year as well.
