A long-standing project is nearing completion in Quesnel. It started as early as 2014, a plan to replace the aging Twin Arenas. The project plans went through more than one referendum, and design changes, as the costs were more than residents had anticipated. But, on April 5th of last year, the ground breaking on the project took place. Once the West Fraser Centre is complete, the old arena will come down to provide parking. Today, the project is on time and on budget.
