Changes Coming In Cougars Crease

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

The Cougars crease is going to look a lot different next year. All-time wins leader Ty Edmonds has aged out of the WHL, and last year’s backup Nick McBride has decided he will be attending university next year. So that leaves a bit of a hole in net for the Cougars next year, but they have a number of prospects who have played in the BCHL, as well as some of their draft picks who will compete for playing time at training camp. The Cougars had 12 players born in 1997 on their roster last year and can only keep 3 of them this year, so McBride’s decision makes that situation a little easier.
