The Prince George ‘Road Runners Club’ has a cool event coming up this weekend. On Sunday morning they’re holding their annual 5K “prediction run”. The idea is that people guess how long it will take them to run 5 kilometres, and finish the race as close to that time as possible. There’s a clock that counts down from one hour, so you wait until it ticks down to the time you think the race will take you before starting your run. That way, in theory, there should be a bunch of people finishing together as the clock ticks down to 0. It’s meant to be a fun event, and the club is encouraging everyone to come out regardless of their running experience.
