Innovation Central has launched a crowdfunding campaign. The Hubspace, which is operated by Innovation Central, is located in an old Royal Bank building at the corner of 3rd and Quebec.

Innovation Central is looking to convert the old bank vault in the building into a studio. The studio would be used as a content creation space for local podcasters, YouTubers, gamers and others looking to share content with the world.

The studio, called ‘The Vault’, would be equipped with microphones, video cameras, a TV, gaming consoles, a green-screen, furniture along with other amenities.

“We’re very eager to see all of the different types of content people and organizations are able to produce and share from The Vault,” says Matt Hutcheon, Executive Director of Innovation Central. “The acoustics are great for audio recording, and we think it’s a great use for a cool space with a unique personality.”

The crowdfunding campaign on the Invest Local BC website will help Innovation Central reach their $4,000 goal. To contribute to the campaign, visit
