The intense wind storm that blew through the city early Tuesday afternoon caused some havoc for some residents. Some went without power, while others had trees had fallen onto their properties. According to environment Canada the winds peaked around 70 kilometers an hour in the Prince George. Cutting power to nearly 3 thousand Prince George homes. Most of the affected neighborhoods were in the Hart Area. The power was restored within a few hours to those affected in the city. Hydro Crews will continue to work throughout the day to repair the extensive damage caused to power lines, transformers and power poles.
