More than two weeks after the BC Election ended in a nail biter, the political drama is just beginning. The final count of absentee ballots has confirmed a minority, but there’s still confusion as to who will form the next government. If Christy Clark fails to form government, that allows the New Democrats to possibly form a coalition with the Green Party. With the Liberals clean sweeping many of the northern ridings, some political experts believe an NDP-Green coalition government would need to work very hard to include the northern part of the province in the decision making process. A minority government, either way could call for an election sooner rather than later.
