In its 12th year, Spirit Day raised $70,801.30 (and counting) for improved healthcare in the north.
With support of the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group and nearly 70 volunteers, the Spirit of the North Foundation surpassed it’s $50,000 goal for the campaign.
The money will go towards purchasing a suite of ultrasounds with ECHO capabilities at a Regional Cardiac Centre.
“We truly appreciate the generous support of our sponsors, volunteers and our valued donors, who made Spirit Day such a wonderful success,” commented Judy Neiser, CEO for Spirit of the North. “Our community has once again shown that they give generously — from the heart; their gifts of time, energy, and hard earned dollars will have a significant impact on cardiac patients in our community.”
