Fort To Fort Voyageur Brigade Arrives

The Fort to Fort Voyageur Brigade has arrived in Prince George.

About 100 paddlers, dressed in traditional voyageur garb, entered the Stuart River in Fort St. James Monday and travelled along the Nechako to Prince George this week.

They are commemorating a historic fur trade route.

Four of the canoes that arrived at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park this afternoon, will continue on, joining other brigades in Ottawa in time for Canada Day celebrations.
