Beyond Hope Conference In Prince George

A busy couple of days for the Prince George Public Library, hosting 130 delegates  in town  for the Beyond  Hope  Conference.

The  two-day biennial Conference at the Bob Harkins Branch of the Library and Civic Centre, offers library staff and trustees practical education sessions on everything from library accessibility to the Truth and Reconciliation commission.

Beyond Hope adopted its name in the early 1990s, in response to the fact most professional development opportunities tended to focus on the Lower Mainland.
