Tomorrow the UNBC Timberwolves and their supporters are going to be taking over the Prince George Golf and Curling Club course for the T-Wolves’ annual golf tournament. The event raises money for the athletic programs, and to date has brought in more than two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand dollars. There’s also a caddy auction, where you can bid on a local UNBC athlete. You can get them to do all the heavy lifting for you, and have them tell you to put that 3 iron away, you could easily reach the green with your 4. All the money raised at the tournament is a big help for the T-Wolves, because playing university sports isn’t cheap.
