Quesnel Hosting Six Kamloops Storm Games Next Season

Quesnel will host six Junior B hockey games next season, according to Kamloops Storm general manager Barry Dewar.

The Storm, who play in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL), will take six of their home games to Quesnel to demonstrate to the league that expansion to the central and north Cariboo region can be successful.

In January, the KIJHL rejected bids from Quesnel and Williams Lake for expansion teams.

The Storm’s six games in Quesnel will be against Osoyoos (twice), 100 Mile House (twice), North Okanagan and Kelowna.
