Social Media is allowing us to have an insider look at the blaze. Photos and video from residents, passers by, and emergency responders have been shared as the fires spread across the province.
Videos have been circulating around social media with the hashtag BC-Wildfires and have been giving everyone an idea of what it’s like to be in the middle of it all.

A Facebook page called “YMM Helps British Columbia” has been created to help gather supplies like fuel and water to bring to donation centers in BC.
Individuals have also taken time to write a list of advice that suggests things like remembering to bring important documents and to call your insurance company to start a claim as soon as you’ve been evacuated.
While others simply offer words of encouragment and support.
Throughout the chaos, those who have been affected want to remind everyone that it’s important to get out of your home as quickly as your can if you’re asked to evacuate as your belongings can be replaced, but your life can’t.
