The General Motors dealers of Northern BC presented a cheque in support of evacuees today. They donated $24,000 to the Salvation Army to assist with providing food and supplies to displaced people from the wildfires south of Prince George.
“We are all connected as one big Northern BC community and all share in the responsibility of looking after each other in times of need,” says Don Willimont, the Operations Manager for Wood Wheaton SuperCentre.
6 dealers in Northern BC came together to raise the money, stretching from Terrace to Dawson Creek.
