An anonymous Prince George businessman has donated $50,000 to the Salvation Army to support its efforts with BC wildfire victims. And he’s calling on financial institutions to match the donation.
The donation was made this week and will directly support those affected by the wildfires.
The Salvation Army is helping to feed evacuees and volunteers at College of New Caledonia. It says it is serving more than 1,600 meals daily as well as 3000 snacks.
