The Two Rivers Gallery is calling all artists, builders, crafters and tinkerers. It is looking for more participants for the 3rd annual Mini Maker Faire, set for September 30th.
The Gallery, Exploration Place, Library and School District 57 will have stations set up, showcasing a diverse range of talent in our city. Over 20 stations will be set up, but there is space for about 50.
The Faire will take over the Library, Civic Plaza and MakerLab in the Gallery, bringing in thousands of people.
“The Make Movement…it’s to get makers together, it’s just to get the buzz around it, the conversations, the whole culture, ” says Roanne Whitticase, Coordinator of the MakerLab. “It’s a free event for people to participate in, to attend. It is just inspire and support the maker culture.”
To display your work, you can apply in person at the Gallery, or online at http://princegeorge.makerfaire.com/
