A man is in custody and facing several charges after back-to-back incidents. On Monday August 7th, 2017 at around 6:15 AM, the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of an Assault and Mischief on the 1900 block of Strathcona Avenue. Initial indications were that an adult female had been assaulted and the tires of her vehicle punctured, before the suspect fled on foot.
While enroute to the assault, police received a report of a possible stabbing on the 2300 block of Spruce Street.
Officers attended both locations, locating a female with minor injuries and a male suffering from what appeared to be multiple wounds from an edged weapon. Again, the suspect had fled before police arrived.
On Tuesday August 8th, 2017, a Criminal Code warrant was issued for 25-year-old Trevor Lyndon Alexis of Williams Lake, BC. He was located and arrested in Agassiz, BC that same day.
Alexis is facing several charges, including Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Assault and Mischief under $5000.
The suspect and the female victim are known to each other. It is not known whether the male victim and the suspect are known to each other.
Alexis is scheduled to appear in Court on August 17th.
