The mother of the late Natasha Montgomery is making a public plea to the mother of the man convicted of killing her daughter. Louanne Montgomery is asking Cody Legebokoff’s mother to call on her son to tell authorities where her Natasha’s body is. She made the plea today, nearly 7 years after Natasha was reported missing.
Today RCMP joined about 50 of Montgomery’s friends and family in a search at the Bowron River rest-stop, 60 kilometers east of Prince George. The area has been identified by RCMP as a location Legebokoff likely would have used to hide Montgomery’s body.
Friends and family of the slain woman are searching through the nearby bush for any evidence that could help to identify where Natasha’s body is located.
A jury convicted Cody Legebokoff of murdering Montgomery, although her body was never found. Montgomery was 23 years old when she was reported missing September 23, 2010.
