Mounties are reminding hunters to be well prepared before they head out into the back country. The reminder follows the successful search for a 72 year old hunter.
The RCMP helicopter and members of Prince George Search and Rescue were alerted to the missing man around 4:00pm yesterday. They suspended the search at midnight and resumed at first light this morning.
The hunter was found today at noon. He is in good condition.
RCMP says warm clothing, water, food, first aid and a satellite beacon will help you survive if you become lost in the bush.
