Black Bear activity is on the rise this month in Prince George with 105 bear complaints ,bringing this season's total to 245 complaints. Four more bears were destroyed in the last couple of weeks,bringing the total to 8 bears destroyed around the city since April. Rachel Caira with the Northern Bear Awareness Society urges all residents to rid their yards of any unatural food sources ,the main attractant for bears .The Northern Bear Awareness Society is inviting the public to visit their booth today at 3rd and George from 5-9 p.m.
