Canfor Pulp is being recognized for its work to reduce its carbon footprint. It's signed a letter of intent to provide the Pacific Carbon Trust with up to 80 thousand tonnes of carbon offsets. In return, Canfor will receive funds to pour back into equipment improvements. Canfor Pulp's David Scott says they were approached by the crown corporation.The initial three year contract would be equivalent to removing 21 thousand cars from the road for one year.
