Details of a 25-thousand dollar expenditure by the Downtown Business Improvement Association will be discussed at city council tonight. The DBIA spent the money on a 'let's get started' event. The problem is, it's budget hasn't been approved by council yet. The Mayor and councillors will look at a more detailed budget tonight. Also on the agenda at tonight's meeting, an update on the Official Community Plan,and a small motel near Westgate wants to expand to a 145 room, four storey hotel with a 150 seat restaurant.
