Three sections of asphalt laid Tuesday along University Way was pulled up Wednesday. The asphalt laid was not smooth and not up to the city's standards. Supervisor of Streets Operations, Ed Shearer says he's not sure if it was an equipment error or an operator error. The sections affected run between the Shane Creek Bridge through to the entrance of the University. The work will be redone at the cost of the contractor. It will delay the project by one day.
