On July 29th, the Prince George RCMP Serious Crime Unit entered into a homicide investigation in the 1700 block of Yew street. The male victim is 48 year old Sylvain Victor ROY. ROY was originally from Quebec but has been a long term resident of the Prince George area. Police arrested 44 yr old Patrick Mathewe-sie and he is being charged with manslaughter in the death of ROY. Mathewe-sie is back in court august 18th.
