Schools within District 57 resume operations a week from tomorrow. While most students are already registered, Superintendent Brian Pepper says anyone who is new to the area or has moved from one part of the city to another and is switching schools, will need to register. Pepper says parents are required to bring a birth certificate for their proof of age. Elementary students can register at their new school until three this afternoon. Secondary students can register this week. Registration dates vary for individual schools. Full details are listed below:
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS should register on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
DISTANCE EDUCATION STUDENTS registration for full time students K – 12, will be held at 1270 – 2nd Avenue. Registration begins on August 23rd and continues through September. Please call 250-564-6574 for an appointment time.
