A new school year is just a week away in B.C. Education Minister Margaret MacDiarmid says one of the highlights is the move to all-day Kindergarten in half the province, including School District 57. Over 21 thousand students will be enrolled in the program this year. A year from now when the program is extended province-wide, 40,000 students are expected. MacDiarmid says the province has the teachers and the space to be able to provide the all-day Kindergarten program.
